Brannstrom is currently outplaying Myers, Soucy, Forbort and Desharnais. And he wasn't even on the f***ing team until Allvin pulled that trade out of his ass.

The defence is not even close to playoff calibre. Right now they would be out in 5 or less.

Looks like the isles are still using a trotz type system, I know the last coach looked to just continue it, aggressive defensively stepping up getting sticks in lanes, and try to capitalize on the opponents mistakes for offense. Not a style I care for but somehow its dominating the canucks.

I just rewound it and watched it again and I have literally no idea what Myers is thinking.

The forward got possession of the puck in a bit of a tough spot and Myers just stood up and started skating to the bench for a line change. Just totally f***ing insane. Just did a full Brandon Sutter spacewalk to the bench while the puck was still in his zone and a rookie was trying to get himself sorted and Myers should have been the out.

Yeah theres a ton of subtle borderline calls they could be making but they let it go this long so now they cant call it. The coach and players should be pointing it out at least. God knows horvat was looking at the refs getting calls all games, its sad, but works.
