It's on the other guys to give him a target so they can complete the zone exit. He's the center, he should expect both defencemen to be there as outlets.

Looks like the isles are still using a trotz type system, I know the last coach looked to just continue it, aggressive defensively stepping up getting sticks in lanes, and try to capitalize on the opponents mistakes for offense. Not a style I care for but somehow its dominating the canucks.
