Lekk has been decent, but it’s clear he’s got a lot of work to do on his work down low and on the forecheck. Decision making is a split second behind where it needs to be too.

Completely expected given it’s his first taste of NHL action. Very skilled player, but still rough around the edges.

Some good poise though and no panic in the small spaces. I especially like the one play when he was challenged just inside the zone. He thought briefly about trying a move or pass but realized the danger and just redirected it off the opposing player. Good flow and nothing noticeable in our own zone. Plus that line has been putting on the pressure. All in all not bad, good first game so far.

Agreed though, a couple things to work at.
