Blackwood is actually perfect for this Sharks team right now. Isn't he one of those goalies who prefers to see a lot of pucks and a high workload?

I appreciate that Myers recognizes he can play like Orr vs the Sharks, but it's too bad nobody's up to match him.
everyone on the team has forgotten how to shoot in high danger areas. Either we just push it along the ice into the pads or we pass it at the most inopportune times

But boy howdy do we love firing the puck in low percentage spots

I think we’re all starting to realize that last year was our lighting in a bottle season.

JT can’t continue to play this game for much longer. Nobody can play that heavy long term.

EP is looking like a 2C.

Demko looks like he’s an injury away from a life away from hockey.

Hughes is a still great

So back in the Green era we couldn't play defence but we could score. Now we're a lot more dependably structured and to me that's what leads to consistency, especially in the playoffs.

However now we're at the point where the Bowness, De Boer, Trotz, Cassidy type coaches have to figure out how to generate offence within that structure. Tocchet is a pretty young coach in that way, and he has to figure it out if we're going to progress in the post season. But you see here how we're usually going to give ourselves a chance to win in the regular season. For me, for now, it's pretty great. Of course it could and must be better going forward but compared to those 8 years I do appreciate this.
