Don't look now, but the Sharks have won three in a row. Granted in terms of zone time and possession they were buried alive by the Hawks last night. But still staggered through to a 3-2 win.

Like a lot of offensively-challenged teams they all fall back and pack the front of the goal with bodies and block a ton of shots. Hopefully the Canucks can wheel around in the offensive zone and get some pucks through to the net.

But even without Cellebrini in the lineup, the Sharks look to have some young forwards who can burn you off the rush. Hopefully it's not a long night for some of the Canucks lumbering d-men like Myers, Desharnais, Forbort and lately, Soucy, unfortunately.

6-2 W incoming. Debrusk gets the bagel off the board, Hronek gets rewarded offensively for his great defensive play to start the year, and the Canucks breathe a little easier after a couple rough games.

Hoping Petey can use this as a confidence boosting game, but I’m done trying to guess when he’s going to get together as he’s been making me look silly - if you look at my posts I’ve been thinking he’s going to break out of this slump since the playoffs

DeBrusk should just be left up there until they figure out. The Heinen-Blueger-Sherwood line has actually been probably our best recently, and the fourth line has been a pretty good alignment. Looks like the proposed Joshua-Pettersson-Garland experiment could become a reality in time.
