Lekk just set up a guy with an open side of the net, and he misses. Anyways, Lekk with 2 goals in 4 games. When he gets called up, he will immediately improve our pathetic power play.
i dont think that will be the case

he will be task to be a puck retriever so Miller and Quinn can keep trying to find that tip in goal

was listening to the radio today and drance (Who's - to his credit - finally stopped pretending like pettersson's performance isn't god awful) and he brought up the list of 100 point centers in the past decade and the worst one by a long shot is RNH. like you'd never trade any of the other guys on that list

just something to consider here. signing him was never the wrong decision nor was there any realistic alternative. him having this monstars stolen talent thing is unprecedented.
Agreed with this. No matter my commentary on Pettersson, I always supported getting him signed. This isn't some whiff by management in terms of pro scouting or whatever. It's on him to play to his potential.

Still early in the season but I think Allvin made a couple of mistakes with his free agent signings and non signings. Sherwood and Lankinen are fantastic, but I think he also painted himself in a corner a bit too looking for this top 4 defenseman unicorn. We also need a centerman, two key positions that literally EVERY team needs and is looking for aswell.

Thirded. The signing was good. It needed to happen.

Was he playing poorly prior to the signing? Yes, he had been struggling for a decent stretch.

But we all expected him to turn it around.

The fact that he had a whole offseason to figure things out and still came back like this is what's so unbelievably concerning.

Debrusk is also tentatively concerning, although the scouting report on him was that he goes cold for long stretches so he gets a longer rope to start.

They had no choice but to get him signed, he has almost no value as an unsigned flight guarantee.
He'd be on a 1 year 7.5MM deal expiring as a UFA rn after he took that QO to walk himself to free agency if they didn't threaten that carolina trade lmao

Yes....when you sign four or five UFA's every single off-season, you're not going to win 'em all. There's always going to be a risk.

So far, the jury is very much out on DeBrusk, Desharnais and Forbort. Not going very well so far.
