The cap is the cap. Never going to be perfect unless your youngsters hit early and/or ufa signings turn out better than expected. But, that is also short lived as contracts are shorter term (elc unlikely to get 3 productive years above their cap hit, likely 1 maybe 2) and ufas like 1-2 years.

So, you're going to have issues when you get past your regulars.
