Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.
In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerThe issues are....I didn't Really grasp the NHL and Junior league conversation, any additional insights?
The issues are....
1. Player rights length.
Right now USHL/ Europe are till june 1 draft year+4 unless they later go to NCAAs.
If drafted from NCAAs then rights are thru aug 15 if the planned graduation yr or 4 yrs from draft yr if you turn pro before jan 1 of graduation yr.
CHL players is till 1 june draft yr+2. If they were 18 they re-enter the draft pool as a 20 yr old
Currently CHL players cant do ncaas but now players are paid so things chsnged
Now if looks like college will be sblf to recruit players from the CHL which can complain as te pkayer rights.
2. Do the raise draft age from 18 to 19? If they do, does it change CHL exclusive rights in some way like say (1) players drafted in first 3 rounds can go to AH even if still WJC eligible, ir (2) with nhl team have a right to designate 1 p ln ayer to go to AHL
3. Could nhl follow a baseball/ football draft model where they cant draft kids who signed ncas ncas letters of intent at 18. If they go NCAAs they cant get drafted till they are 21 or 3 yrs post HS/in college ( including red shirt/ delayed entry)
R. Does this change the USHL to then be the same as chl. You have some teams thinking about switching between ohl and USHL leagues
Bettman is such a goof. Dude needs to retire with the attitude he has. Which I'm assuming he will once the CBA is ratified.
Maybe they'll follow the PWHL.One thing they should be talking about, but I don't believe they are:
3 points for regulation win
2 points for OT win
1 point for OT loss
NCAA conferences have been doing this for a long time. Much better system because every game is worth three points. One thing they should be talking about, but I don't believe they are:
3 points for regulation win
2 points for OT win
1 point for OT loss
