Only way Quick isn't the starter next year is if he is traded. Zero percent chance that the Kings would face the bad publicity that would occur if Quick was benched. It would probably cause issues in the locker room as well with the vets who went to war with Quick in the Cup years.

I just don't even care enough at this point to dig out the heat maps from before and other evidence that showed how differently the team played in front of guys like Budaj than they do in front of Quick. It's even night and day from last night. Volume doesn't mean shit.

I'm not even defending Quick, he's been his own worst enemy too, but both things can be true.

how is DD -34 ? well, he has JQ behind him; Kopi without PP goal is just cherry picking, he is still the best scorer for like 100th time

Nobody is saying he is better but he is playing far more composed at this point of the season and is sound in his positioning. Campbell has a small sample size but he has looked like a pretty good goalie in the games that he has played. Enough to at least be the backup again next year.
