Injuries: Sean Monahan, Matthew Tkachuk, TJ Brodie, Johnny Gaudreau

News/Notes:
  • The Flames will be without 4 of their best player tonight as Tkachuk, Monahan, and Brodie are all out with injuries. Gaudreau has returned back to his home in New Jersey.

  • The Flames were defeated 5-1 by the Sharks on Saturday and have lost 5 in a row and are 3-6-1 in their last 10.
  • The Kings continue their win-lose streak as they lost to the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 Saturday night.

I'm actually going to the game tonight with my dad in Premier 1. First game we've gone to all year so I'm hoping this will be the "Win" game if we continue this win-lose-win-lose nonsense.

A regulation win would formally allow the Flames' players to make vacation plans for the second week of April.

So, Flames win, 2-1?

Mentioned this in another thread, but the Kings have not stringed together a winning streak since they defeated Vegas in back-to-back games and beat Columbus on March 1.

Since then, they've alternated with losses and wins. Meanwhile, others ahead of them are going on winning streaks or have won a bulk of their previous 10 games. The Kings on the other hand continue to be prime examples of just how mediocre they are.

If they manage to lose this, it'll go down as an all-timer. We'll forever look back at it stupefied. Worse than the Edmonton game 3 years ago if they lose? Almost has to be. This one's at home.

Without their top 3 goal/point scorers. Lost their last 5 games, all against the Pacific, by a combined 25-7 score. Outscored by 20 goals in their last 7 games.

They can't possibly lose tonight. It can't happen.

This feels like an almost guaranteed loss. Just got that weird feeling that Smith is going to stand on his head and make a ton of amazing saves, Kings might have o-zone time, but the Flames are going to get timely goals off the break away or 2 on 1. Honestly, if they lose this game, that is it for me. I am in full on tank for Dahlin mode. Might be best for the franchise to get another mid-to-high first rounder selection again, and rebuild like the Bruins.

You guys remember this loss?

The past four years have been filled with nothing but disappointment. Don't be surprised if they find another way to let down the fans yet again.

0 chance you guys lose tonight.... ZERO.

That's not this Kings team. They may end up winning 8-1, but you have to wait to see which Kings team bothers to show up. It doesn't matter who the other team is.

A little late to tank for Dahlin.
