Came in and expected to see Forbort bashing, never disappointed.

Guy made one bad play all period on a mishandled pinch and was otherwise very, very good but I guess we can't watch hockey without a default whipping boy.

Quick doesn't look sharp tonight. I don't blame him per se on either goal--that first one was completely in his blind spot and no one even touched Aberg when he should have been picking up his teeth, that second one was an atypical blown coverage by Kopi--but need him to be superman. He looked better on the McDavid 2-on-1, but we'll need him to allow 0 the rest of the game.

Getting really f***ing sick of looking like a juggernaut only after we get punched in the nuts.

Also the ice suuuucks. Which obviously favors the team that can't handle the puck. That power play we couldn't even make a stick to stick pass completely flat without the puck hitting a ramp and flying into nowhere.
 
Can barely make a pass, soft as butter in the d-zone, and Quick wasn't sure he started the game. Another stupid 1st period. At least they're only down one, thanks to an actual goal, and an actual save from Quick.

yeah not super mad about the first but phaneuf was outrageously soft on the check and pearson or whoever backed off aberg and left him there

personally i'm really pissed at kopi for that goal, he knows he's got the best player on the ice if not the world right there and he bailed on him to go try and intercept a pass. i'd almost rather he's faced up on mcdavid and doing nothing but tying up his stick

Yup its obvious the ice is garbage. Puck was bouncing.

Yeah theoretically that was Reider's man but he fell down in the man pile behind the net...Pearson just stood there surveying. It did happen quickly and was kind of a fluke play that would have been impossible to track given the puck going head-high for Quick (perfect blind spot) but it is what it is.

Rarely see Kopi cheat like that, and I agree. He looks tired tonight.

I guess it wouldn't be a Kings game if they didn't give up the first goal and play poorly in the first. They looked better after Muzzin scored and started taking it to the Oilers.

Everyone expected the puck to go the other way and lost sight of it until it bounce right to the guy and he scored. I'll call that a flukey goal.
