Just saw the score. The balls that some of you guys have to stick around after the first lol

The problem is there's only a few games left before about 6 months with nothing. Not that the last 6 months have been worth anything.

Since we don’t have the D Corp we once had , I think a team like Carolina or Calgary will benefit with Quick in net because their D will bail him out . We don’t rely on D to much anymore we are trying to play a more offensive game

I'm guessing those teams can find a cheaper and younger system goalie.

I don't know about Grundstrom guys. He goes to the net and cuts to the middle of the ice and is willing to go to prime scoring areas. Those are things that Kings players aren't supposed to do.

Yeah, but we say that about every new prospect that comes from high offense in the minors and show flashes of that in the NHL before the organization beats it out of them to play boring hockey.

Most of it. Beginning of the third I spent taking a dump, but so were the Kings so it was like I was there.

and get what exactly ? best case maybe 3 rd ? we have no one to replace him doing what he does. If we had a replacment sure but we don't
What does he do? This is a rebuild. Depth players like Clifford are just wasting away here. I'd take the 3rd. It at least has a chance of being something.

Carter has passed the baton for worst looking forward to Lewis. He was sliding all over the ice in the latest debacle. Carter led the way with a -3, 0 pts in 17:12 minutes and Lewis had just over 13 minutes. Amadio, Wagner and Brodzinski all played less than 10:30 minutes and managed to put up one point between them and a collective -2.

He plays physical willing to step up and fight Solid defensively and contributing offensively for the time he plays hes a hardest working king this year. He sets a good example of how to be a professional He brings leadership to the bottom 6 forwards. His value to the kings is worth more then a 3rd I don't see it as a rebuild I think its more a retool if we can hit on the next 2 drafts.

Well, we fundamentally disagree about the state of this team. I felt they were supposed to be in re-tool mode back in 2015 and it hasn't panned out.

Well my 2 cents on the subject is they needed to get new players into the lineup in 15 but decided to play players like King in top 6 rather then try other options I see the youth we have and whats coming a couple more hits and we will be fine by 20-21

This roster is beyond worrying about who gets replaced doing what. The focus has to be on what the roster will be when Kopitar is finally in the last year of his contract. The Cup core is done, and those former core players know it. You don't have this season after last year, and still think you can compete. If there was fire left, it's gone.

Not that Clifford is going anywhere. He's a deadline kind of trade, not a summer acquisition.

Technically great, clean and controlled. A genuinely outstanding body checker, and for me the best during his time in the NHL.
Some of those are definately questionable, but to be expected when you throw the number of hits he has in his career. Damn shame they stripped him of the C.

The idea that Quick ends up in Calgary makes me want to puke. If he is traded, East coast or nothing with a condition he can't be flipped back into our division.

That was all Sutter and a condition of him re-signing and DL went along. It's almost as if you can trace the entire fall from the top to that moment or shortly before that.
