Surely the Edmonton Oilers, clinging to playoff hopes, would be motivated enough to battle the Kings tonight. Maybe they can muster up enough to actually beat Quick, who apparently has an amazing record against them.

Why do that when they can miss the playoffs and win another draft lottery?

The Kings are just going to screw with us some more.

In 2015 they needed to win in Western Canada to have a chance to make the playoffs and of course they lost.
In 2019 they needed to lose in Western Canada to have a better chance at lottery balls and of course they will win.

I hope Amadio comes in tonight.

Looking at the Oilers how can you be so piss poor with some of the key players they have in the fold. A 100 point player, a 50 goal guy and RNH having a career year in goals scored and this team still sucks.

Edmonton should be one of the teams asking about Quick in the offseason. Not sure how to make the cap work but he would be a good get for them.

I was just thinking of this parallel, awful :laugh:
 
Was happy to see them beat the sharks. I thought, "Surely that'd be the only win for while"

Then they beat the ducks. Thought, "Hey if they are going to win, I'm happy that it's against a sharks AND a ducks team"

Then they beat Calgary. With each win I'm happy, but a little less so.

Any guesses who I have on my fantasy teams, in the championship?

But if Amadio doesn't play, that's a shame, that would be idiotic and to use the excuse of "we want to get more young guys ice time" then sit Lewis FFS, it makes no sense.

Who wants to try and take a guess as to how many players currently on the Kings roster will be on the ice the next time the Kings play a playoff game?

I'll say Kopitar, Doughty, Brown, Iafallo, Kempe, Wagner, Walker, Quick

I expect huuuuge changes in the next 1-2 years.

Yes. Grundstrom also to that list. Forgot him.

The bottom six pieces are largely in place, just have to completely rebuild the top 6. Kopi might be the only person we can pencil into a top 6 role from anyone currently on the roster.

Jack Campbell is pretty impressive.
 
I love Drew but it's tough to listen to Mr. Minus 29 criticize anyone's game while playing on possibly the worst LA Kings team of all time.
