I feel for you, truly. It could be worse. I still have this:

Whatever the reason, there’s a solid argument to be made that JT Miller single handedly slammed the door shut on the window for this core. Don’t think anyone should be chanting his name at this point.
The core/window is over.

Unfortunately this team is in the mushy middle for atleast 1-2 years more.

Just curious what that argument would be? They were a higher end bubble team with him.

If JT was the difference, they weren't good enough anyway.

I still think they make it work and he's back, but if he is gone, I will not miss at all his neutral zone coaching. Absolutely abysmal breakout and rushes. Among the worst I've seen of any team this year.

He's like the reverse Bruce Cassidy.
I'm tired of hearing how good of a coach he is and how well liked he is..
He can't pack his bags fast enough for me...Bringing him back will result in the same shit next season no matter what players we bring in.

But that 26 pts in 25 games on a shitty Rangers team though...
TBH, kind of surprised he's still on ppg pace.

Pretty terrible year for the Canucks. Kinda glad it's almost over. Game 82 can't come soon enough

That can’t possibly be true?
I don’t think this is true we have seen how this management operates and they kept both the 2022 and 2023 first. I would expect them to trade every other pick and the 2026 first. But if they think that they can add a core piece in the draft they probably consider keeping it.

That's depressing. The draft is one of the few things I'm looking forward to.
This team has to convince Quinn Hughes to sign a long term contract.
They will do everything in their power this offseason to improve across the board.
To find a center they need the 1st to deal in a package 100%.
To find wingers they need some luck and a good Free Agency period.
It's just the reality

Yes it's Millers fault Benning was a complete gong show
Yes it's Millers fault management chose him over Horvat.
Yes it's Millers fault he took less again after already providing a bargain contract
yes it's Millers fault Pettersson no showed when needed the most after getting an massive contract
yes it's Millers fault he was asked to be hard on Pettersson that backfired it drove a wedge and they needed to trade him
yes it's Millers fault that the return is a LTIR candidate and a 1st used to replace Zadorov after the defence or lack of it sabotaged the season while heading towards 16th at the draft
Yes its millers fault so many guys have ben thrown under a bus

Good enough for us not to make any sort of long term plan just impossible videogame logic in about 5 years?

Yes please!
I mean either way I trust their judgement.
If they feel they can get another Willander level prospect, why not? Double the value.

If not then yeah trade the pick of course. We gotta get things going here asap.

Rest up the injured key pieces and see what we got in the youth and on to next year, this whole year just hasn’t been it for this team.
