Post-Game Talk: GM 75 | Kraken def. Canucks | 5-0 | Worst Birthday Ever

Games, and seasons like these, make me really, really wish the Whitecaps wouldn't move, because if this shit team is the only major sport in town (besides the Lions I guess) I'm gonna have an aneurysm.

Last season made me check-in in the Fall of 2024, this season is going to make me check-out until April 2026.

I firmly believe the Canucks could finish last this season and we still wouldn't get to draft 1st overall.

Yet a Penguins team that is on the verge of folding somehow gets Crosby, and the Blackhawks who shouldn't even have a first round draft pick gets rewarded Bedard.

Do I think it's rigged?!, I sure do. There is no way the Canucks would be rewarded a 1st overall like that.
Buttman will never let us draft 1st could go o and 82 that weasel would f us

Being a Canucks fan is depressing, but I'm too far in 40 years invested.
Yeah, there's not any other options at this stage in the game. I followed them since they came into the league, but the unpleasant feeling is getting too chronic. I don't think I've got the jam to watch another season like this one, which is really only different than the majority by it's weirdness. Too much negativity welling up.

The saddest thing about this game was seeing Hughes on the bench at the 60-minute mark, looking like death warmed over.

The shame is he cares too much. And as captain of this listing ship, he takes very loss personally, particularly a pathetic effort like this one.

I beginning to come to the inevitable conclusion that Hughes career in Vancouver will run for two seasons after this one--and then he's outta' here. And nobody could ever blame him for pulling the pin.

I guess we get another head coach this off season? Looks like Tocchet might be gone.

I still think they make it work and he's back, but if he is gone, I will not miss at all his neutral zone coaching. Absolutely abysmal breakout and rushes. Among the worst I've seen of any team this year.

He's like the reverse Bruce Cassidy.

It will make it all the more special if they do eventually win the cup my friend. Hang in there.

Although the Stanley Cup meaning is losing a lot of it's value when tax free expansion teams keep winning.

I followed, and cheered passionately, with too much money spent on all sorts of merch, for 51 and a half years.

The Aquilini family were and are:
Slumlords
A farm worker’s worst nightmare
Polluters
And in the case of Francesco, credibly accused of beating children.

Now, they want to charge season ticket holders even more.

You can leave. It’s not easy, and it’ll hurt. You may feel like part of your childhood died, as I did, but in time you’ll wonder why it took so long to move on from such vile people and their horrendously run toy.
You may end up cheering for a team that’s even worse on the ice, like I do, but you’ll know not a nickel of your money is going to a man who has been deliberately cruel to so many but embraced the genius of Jim Benning for eight years,

****! Guess this is it

Always tough watching a season
Demolish in real time
But I'm glad to be here now
Knowing your pain is mine

And though we can't influence
their off-season plan
I think we can all agree
**** Messier and Buttman

Guy was a cantankerous asshole this season because he can’t keep his shit on check, Miller last year was solid, this year he’s just a f***ing wack job with extreme sensitivity issues

Whatever the reason, there’s a solid argument to be made that JT Miller single handedly slammed the door shut on the window for this core. Don’t think anyone should be chanting his name at this point.
