The Kings would be lucky if LaDue is the next Corvo. He could be another one of those hyped up prospects who may not live up to the level he performed at in the minors. Kinda like John Slaney.

Forbort has to be the dumbest player on the Kings. Zero pressure on him and he can't make an easy pass to a guy standing still..lmao

One thing we can say is the refs are not afraid to call a penalty

Just so we're clear, you think Quick or Kincaid is having a better game?

And when one goalie plays better than the other it effects the team, no?

We all want the Kings to score. They've been in the NJ zone most of the game. Forwards haven't bailed Quick out, and Quick hasn't bailed out the forwards.

Agree completely with the bolded. I don't think that either goalie is doing anything special. Look at the last powerplay. Carter gets the puck from Kopitar in the slot, shoots it wide. Hischier gets the puck in the slot, puts it off the post and in.

Doughty is just never going to be good enough on the PP to be considered an alltime great player. He just does not read the play well and his shot is sub par.

Watching the replay it’s amazing how close he came to gifting another SH breakaway.

Scary to think how good Doughty would be if his shooting matched the rest of his game.
Doughty is one of the best instinctive players in the game as well. I wonder sometimes about the overall intelligence and emotional maturity at times.

Doughty is the worst 1pm player on the team. With his maturity level, it would not surprise me if he's attempting to grab the vacated "King of Manhattan Beach" crown formerly held by Mr. Stoll.
