I’m sorry, call me crazy but I’d strongly strongly consider moving on from Doughty this summer. I have serious serious reservations on how well he will age if the Kings give him an 8 year deal.

I just don’t think Drew has the game sense to still be a star defender when the skill inevitably starts to fall off.

He is a long long long way from being a Lidstrom or Bourque and that’s what he’s going to need to be to live up to the contract he is going to get.
