Post-Game Talk: GM 72 | Canucks def. Devils in SO | 4-3 (Suter, Lekkerimaki, & Garland) (SO: DeBrusk & Lekkerimaki) | LEKKERIMAK-YEEEEAAA!

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

You have to tip your hat to this gutsy team. They're minus so many guys, but you know they'll battle right to the end.

So many positives in this game--but led by Lekkerimaki and Demko. I think it might be OK to get excited about Lekkerimaki. He's a goal-scorer, pure and simple. And these last 10 games are going to be so important for his development.

Even though they're still likely to fall short.....these last 10 games will be so important to the development of their younger players.

My only complaint is Forbort instead of EP25. Unless he's hurt, sick or something, he needs to play.

Hughes basically playing Samwise to this team's Frodo.

Carrying us on his back all elite and what not.

Classic reaction from Markström.

Nice to see Lekkerimäki be a difference-maker, much as I think it's too little too late.
He's somehow taken his skating to another level all while battling injury. Otherworldly stuff. He had the best agility in the league, and now he might also have the fastest straight line speed with McDavid playing banged up all year.
