"Brad Richards and the LA Kings taking on the Florida Panthers at Staples this afternoon, Richards with the goal..."

Anyone want to take a guess which local LA station made this call?

Quick wasn't letting anything in tonight.

Even Loungo knew that from across the ice :

#FlaPanthers Luongo - 'It was one of those nights where he sees everything. Even the ones he doesn’t see, he finds a way to make the save.â€

#FlaPanthers Luongo - 'Quick was on top of his game. U could see he was feeling it. I don’t know if we were ever going to get a puck by him'

Happy to see Marty showing everyone else what a few of us knew about his play all along and Pearson is doing the same thing.

Our own freaking kids are living up to and exceeding the "hype".

GO KINGS GO!

You got that right. I've been saying since last year that Amart would be a top 4 on most teams if given the chance. I get that extra satisfaction every time he scores a goal.

Even though he played for the Canucks, was always a fan of his. The **** that organization put him through over the last 1+ years. Plus his twitter is golden.

Yeah I'm happy I can root for him now in Florida, he's a great guy and didn't deserve what Vancouver put him through.

Alright, I'm late to the party..

Game was definitely:

Went with my dad and he hadn't been to one in a long time. Had to tell him to grab his jersey before we went. ;)

It was definitely a treat to be there for Quick's 172nd win. When he gets 35 more to cover for the shootout, I hope it's a home game I can be at as well. :)

Great to see Richards, Brown, Lewis, and Martinez get goals.

Gaborik should have had one...damn that post.

4-0 to a Panthers team we could have overlooked and dropped 2pts to before going on the road.

Well done overall...Hope Brown gets better. He looked great out there before getting hurt. :(

All around great game against a team they are supposed to beat. Quick making a few great saves makes us take him for granted at times. So it was extra special to see Quick break Rogie's record for all time Kings wins.

Pearson's speed will make him an impact player for a while I think.

LSS: my son and I got a tennis ball in the tennis ball toss. We didn't think much of our chances to win a prize since we got #23. Then of course Brown taps in a shot off the post and my son was sooo excited to see what he had won. Winning prize: Farmer John's insulated carry tote bag with 4 coupons in it. WTF?!?!? that's it??!

Then to pile on, no more popcornopolis coupons at the end of the game. :( Staples holds 18,000 fans - ya think it might be a good idea to have 18,000 coupons on hand JUST IN CASE a fan wins the puck-shooting contest to "award" popcornopolis prizes to everyone?

I expect these kinds of thing to happen with the Forum Kings, not the Staples Kings.

I was wondering why I didn't get anything when I walked out. I stuck around though for Quick's interview.

I know the East Coast realized that little Joe Pavelski is good, but..

#NeverForget

Not good enough.

lol - I always wondered what the "Farmer John's prize pack" was. The odds of even getting a ball are slim (I've had season tickets for years and have never come close), then the guy who's number you get has to score a goal in that period. All this for one of the lowest scoring teams in the league. I bet they only give out 20 or so of those prizes a season. Seems like they could improve that prize a tad

20? Maybe. Only 41 home games and the second period is the worst period for the Kings.
Nice to win on a Saturday 1pm game.

Am I the only one who still gets excited when Mike Richards does well? Don't get me wrong, it sucks seeing him struggle like this all season, but it's real damn nice to see him score goals and play well.
