Imagine watching this sad sack offensive dump and no chase system and then trying to bring back Tocchet as a coach. What a joke

I hate how perimeter oriented our offense is, you rare ever see a shot from down the middle or in the slot outside of deflections or broken plays. Most of the passes are to the point or along the boards.

Another reason why we sadly miss Chytil, he was actually doing those things even if the finish wasn't there.

Yes I keep saying it. Don’t need superstars to attempt a pass or take a few steps into the middle. But we consistently just ring it to the point and close our eyes and pray.

I’m not even going to get upset,
I’m trying to be realistic in my head.

Hog-EP40- Boeser
DeBrusk-Suter-Sherwood
O’Connor-Blueger-Karlsson
Joshua-Aman-Garland

This is our roster right now, pushing for the playoffs, losing Chytil was crippling.

I hope we win, obviously, but it’s just, I can’t get over my head at the roster, in the off-season, we’re going to have three new top six forwards.

I think I have seen a dozen attempts by Canucks to get the puck in deep that have been picked off and quickly turned the other way. Don't know why they struggle to make these simple plays.

We maybe have one top line player.

The rest of this forward group are middle 6 wingers that have limited talent.

Boy, the forwards aren't doing anything right now. Can't take a pass, and when they get through the neutral zone they're turning it over with soft passes.

Too missed passes and bobbles of the puck. The execution took a massive nosedive from the Jets game. Why is this team so bipolar lol

Hoglander is seeing the ice way better, and processing things way faster. A vastly improved player in the last couple months.
I think he’s one of the guys that would do much better in a more offensive system, because he is a better defensive player nowadays also

Again, we’re going to have three new top six forwards in the off-season, for what we have right now, I think we’re doing a a fine job, we’re holding on

If Chytil makes his way back I would suggest two top 6 F's, but.....yes, agreed.

This is a televised slaughter. Rick always with this even keel bs, feels like it makes the team play way to relaxed. The Blues are balls to the wall rn and that’s how we should be playing every game if you want any chance of making it.

His puck pursuit is very good, I can see why the Canes have wanted him. Their system is basically all puck pressure everywhere on the ice.
