Getzlaf, Perry, and Kesler vs. Kopitar, Kovalchuk, Carter, Brown, Quick, Phaneuf...maybe Doughty too?

Kopitar and Doughty were both Top 10 players in the entire NHL last season. They could be trending down (especially Kopitar) but they don't deserve to be lumped in with the rest of the garbage on this list. I bet you guys wish either one of your hyped up supposed future Norris winners 47 or 10 developed into anything close to DD. The Kings made plenty of mistakes but so did the Ducks, should have moved one of them for an elite forward.

Ducks fans should worry about the return their "generational" defensive core got rather than our cap. We're doing bad with that many bad contracts and their right above us.

All that talent, and not a true #1 dman. I don't see Fowler as a true #1 dman. They have a bunch of 2/3/4 guys.

Kings issues are warranted though considering they have won two cups in the last 6 years, same can't be said about the Ducks.

It feels like Kempe is taking over the leadership position on this team. He is making his presence known on the ice every night and his quotes to Rosen have been about pushing the team to be better. I mean, his comment about the younger players having a responsibility to push the veterans to be better.
