GDT: GM 68 | Vancouver Canucks vs. Winnipeg Jets | Tue, Mar 18 | 7:00PM PST | SPAC

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Sometimes when you've basically written off a game as an inevitable 'loss', the Canucks rise up and surprise you.

But with Chytil gone, and Garland doubtful, the mountain just got a lot steeper. Number one star will have to be Lankinen tonight, or they have no chance.

I'd be shocked if we win this game.

Honestly just hoping that some guys that need to get going to just look better.

One thing to note about the playoff push. We have a relatively difficult schedule to finish up against some legit playoff teams. If we manage to get in I can say we deserve it. Starting with a big win tonight again a likely first round matchup could be huge now and again in another month.

This does feel like one of those “the deck is stacked against us” nights where the Canucks love to tease the shit out of their fans by playing an amazing game…only to follow it up with a bunch of turds.

What the hell, I’ll be optimistic. I think they pull off an upset tonight. It’s Canucks For Kids Fund Telethon night, come on, boys!

Whatever happens this game, Thursday night's match against STL is probably the turning point of the season.

StL are on a roll, there probably going to be 2 points up by the end of the night, there easy schedule will carry them into the playoffs regardless of Thursdays result.

Recently first time ever single Peen is going to the game alone for the first time ever as well.

Have fun Peeny
