Look maybe some of the players are making some boneheaded plays but having played hockey I know what it feels like when your goalie gives up a few softies . You get that killer instinct mentality going and try to attack , make plays, get into the game and once your goalie lets in a softie it drains you of all the energy you have . So I'd like to see for once Stevens call out Quick he never does . This loss is on him .

Not disagreeing, but the statement was “make one big save”.

Funny thing about Quick, everyone says “he’s getting older, body is breaking down, yadda yadda” but that’s not even his problem. He’s still making the nut busting, crazy splits saves, he just can’t close his ****ing 5 hole for some reason...

Yeah don't get me wrong he's still very athletic, but his positioning has gotten so much worse.

It's a team game. Everyone gets called out. There's no exception. Defense has been shit but goaltending hasn't been hot either. Quick did have some great saves, like how Forbort usually makes a few smart plays following some dumb moves the next few shifts. No exceptions.

Truth. But the hive won't like this.

Stevens doesn't have to call Quick out, Quick does it himself when he has a bad game.

Going into the game, they were 6-9-3 at home against western teams. That's 68 points over 82 games. Last year, that would've been good for 2nd worst overall. Two years ago, 68 points gets you the worst record in the league.

They're 11-3 against the East at home. That's 129 points in 82 games.

Apparently nothing that has happened in this game doesn't make sense.

Going to next Saturday's matinee game, thank god its St Patrick's day, by the 3rd period I probably will not be worrying about the score regardless what it is.

I do remember like 7 or 8 years ago the Blues came to town around St Patricks day and proceeded to beat down the Kings 5-0, Kings boo'd off the ice, since pretty much every fan was lit.
Willie was laughing afterwards and said he figured people were enjoying St Patrick's day and if he was up in the crowd he would have boo'd them off the ice too. Miss Willie Mitchell for a variety of reasons.

I’ve played plenty too and yes it can be a problem, but good teams perserve when it matters. Especially for someone like Quick who has saved their asses plenty. And Stevens doesn’t need to call out Quick, Quick will do it himself.

You can't persevere when it's multiple soft goals. And yes Quick calls himself out but he's been very consistent of late with the softies. Not good when we are in a playoff race .

The team was doing very well until the soft goals.

Need one goal in the second, one in the third, and good goaltending. Don't think it's a tall order.
Quick hasn't been great, but the Kings only have 1 goal. For this team to compete Quick has to play great.
