Erik Karlsson is generally considered the best d-man in the world and he is having a horrible year, that is who I was referring to and how the Norris race is wide open.

As far as Doughty. He plays a ton of minutes and a lot on the PP and he isn’t a bad player, never said he was but you just can’t do what he did with 50 seconds on a 5 on 3. You have a two man advantage and your idea of a smart play is to blast it into shin pads. Do you realize how often his points either go wide or are blocked?

No offense herby but Karlsson isn’t even a top 5 defenseman when you consider what that title actually means. He is the best offensive Dman we’ve seen this generation but as some have pointed out, the Norris Trophy probably defends better than Erik Karlsson....
