GDT: GM #6 LA Kings vs Toronto Maple Leafs @4:30pm 10/15/18

These guys wouldn't have put up with this shit. They'd probably send a message either in the locker room or on the ice. Instead we're stuck with the Tanner Pearson's, Tyler Toffoli's of the world who probably have their head down snapchatting.

There's not really a moment so far where I felt the Kings were dangerous.

Toffoli hit the post. Doughty carried the puck in deeper. Thompson had that spin around shot. But I never really saw that play develop and think "this is the moment something happens".

They look more lifeless than with Terry Murray

Doughty didn't actually finish the check on Matthews, and then had his skate in the wrong place at the wrong time. Self inflicted wounds by Doughty if anything.

The Kemoe penalty should have been interference on Toronto. First.
But this is the same BS that continues to plague the NHL with it's original 6....specifically Canadian teams.....favoritism. The Leafs have been slashing all night and not one call. They are a good team....it's time to stop palying favorites.
Not that evening things out will help the Kings one bit.
 
Seriously the best hockey player of all time looked like a chick in his youth.

i was going to mention the kempe penalty looking more like a toronto interference penalty but that's not the difference tonight

3 of those 4 were here in 14-15. I would buy the whole this team lacks leadership for the reason they can't win big games if it wasn't for that season. They couldn't beat a McDavid-less Oilers team in a must win game.

I actually think Marleau tried to hit Doughty’s skate with that shot. Two bank shots for two goals. It’s clear that the Leafs are more creative than the Kings. It’s like constipation watching the Kings try to score.

Maybe. Who knows. There was also a guy there that Marleau could've been passing to and it happened to slide right off the blade of Doughty's skate.
