My life is more exciting than Canucks hockey. Haven't been able to say that in a good spell.

My life still isn't, so that's saying something.

I tried to avoid the game yesterday but saw on my phone that it was tied late... I turn on the TV and literally seconds later Forbort takes the penalty that led to the game winner.

If I had just stayed away I would have been okay with it despite the loss, but obviously the few minutes I watch is the part where we lose the game. -_-

Hopefully this one isn't a snoozer.

This game has the potential to be a snooze-fest. The Kings win most of their games by giving up absolutely nothing, and closing down the ice. The Canucks can't put the puck in the ocean right now.

I could easily see another 2-1 or 1-0 game. But it'll be like watching paint dry.

Boring ass team vs another boring ass team

Lmfao I’m probably going to switch the channel after about 10 minutes.

Also I remember there was this one game against the Kings where we scored like 3 goals in the first 6 minutes of the 1st period and then Vanek scored a breakaway slapshot goal.

LA is the second best team at shot suppression in the league.
Ought to be interesting, IMO the Canucks shoot from the center ice red line just to buildup the shot total. They often have 3+ from outside the blueline per game.
Canucks are starting to see back up goalies again.
But this is a rally important game for LA, if they win this one then the odds of the Canucks catching them are remote leaving the Canucks battling for the WC2 spot.
Calgary has a game in hand now and they have a better points % than the Canucks but have to run the gauntlet next week.

yep, a PVR game.

Maybe I'm just conditioned from being a Canucks fan for too long, but I'm not liking the optics of this entire road-trip,now that they've lost to both Vegas and Utah.

I could easily see the Canucks limping home, below the playoff bar yet again. And if Hughes continues to languish on the injured list, then it's almost guaranteed.

At that point Allvin has some hard decisions to make on whether to be a 'buyer' or a 'seller' on March 7th. I know where I stand----sell...sell...sell!

Vanek would look nice on the powerplay right abut now

Yeah this is a skip. Boring system on a team that's too afraid to make a play. Even when Petey creates rooms, which he's done quite a bit of, the rest of the team continues to struggle getting open or capitalizing on this.
