His game reminds me of Shawn Matthias. Sort of a similar arrival and circumstance as well.

Canucks outshot 22-8 over two periods. They can't generate shots; zone time; scoring chances and goals.

Most encouraging thing about this game is Silovs and D-Petey, who've played most of the season in Abbotsford. And Mancini has looked more than serviceable. At least he looks like he's capable of making a decent pass out of his own zone; and if required, can actually carry it out.

But up front, the lack of skill, finesse and effective SOG is jarring at times. This just isn't a very talented group of players.
