Wow... He's right they're sitting Klingberg when Kopitar hits the ice. Wow

Spent the entire period in the Dallas end and no PPs...funny how that works isn't it?

Really loll

Well, I was half-joking. He is getting the Brent Burns special all year--basically all offensive deployment (starts 70% of the time outside of the d-zone), minutes limited to PP and offensive deployment, and has a defensive D pairing taking all the hard minutes. But even Brent Burns would stay on the ice midshift if the Kopitar line jumped over. The Stars are literally getting Klingberg off the ice every chance they get with Kopi out there.

LaDue looking good so far to me

He's gonna look good when we have the puck. The key to his NHL game will be what's he like without? He was gold that period.

The Kings had 4 shot during that shift and the scorer is keeping it a 9 SOG ?

Glad it wasn't just me  generous shot counter to say the least

I'm really liking Darcy Kuemper. Always nice to have a reliable backup.

Hope I didn't jinx it now.

Dallas was sleep walking against the Leafs in their last game before the AS break. Guess they haven't woken up yet. Good for our guys.

He looked good without the puck as well made at least 3 solid defensive plays and i only started paying attention to him after he scored the goal

Only 1 Corsi Against Kopitar that period. one. singular. Against Benn-Seguin-Radulov. Looks rejuvenated.

93.33 CF% is a pretty good period.

Nothing to talk about when things are going so well. But games are 60 minutes.

Don't worry, I'm sure Kings won't be bludgeoning a good team like the Stars all game, plenty of time left. However, maybe the best start I've seen all year

Whew - for a moment I was afraid they would somehow call that a kicking motion... but on the replay it doesn't look like it hit Brown's skate at all.

Remember when the SOG was 9 apiece back in the first? By my count that makes 12 shots in a row for the Kings with none for the Stars, including on a PP.

Fox was talking like he wanted called back. It was clear that brown didn't touch it , on the overhead view
