Terrible trade, Hughes is generational, there is no one in the league that can skate like him in terms of movement.

NJ scored nice

Awful effort by Quinn on that goal.

Bad read by Bear as well but to be fair that was a pretty cool set play.

That was a tough play for Bear but Hughes just controller disconnected and did nothing to help out his partner. If he actually hustles to back up Bear there’s no way Jack can cut across the net the way he did.

Hughes gets by defensively by being so good offensively and in terms of possession but plays like that are what keep him from moving into the true upper echelon of NHL defenders.

Hughes a PPG Dmen with a positive goal differential playing the most minutes on a bottom 5 team in the league and people are drooling over a trade for a guy who isn’t even in the league, a middle six winger with potential and late first round pick. Hughes is so under appreciated here.

This is one of the most entertaining and well played games of the year

Its just most fans here can see the writing on the wall.
This team aint going to do shit for the next 3-4 years.
Might as well recoup and aim for the future.

We all know Quinn will be the best canucks defencemen on this trajectory.
He isnt under appreciated at all.
