Are the players simply not allowed to make a simple adjustment while they're on a PP when they must know they're clearly telegraphing that dumb drop back pass? Tried it like 3 times, didn't work at all, and what do you get out of it anyway?

They've used it since the return from the break. The Pens have scouted it and are ready for it.
