Wasn't coming at you with it. It was a huge thing on the board.

Really, it is a case of having a **** pipeline as well while he was the prospect du jour. Everyone got caught up with perfect R/L pairings after the Cups.

As for you, you've been out on LaDue for a bit now so you haven't been carrying the torch for him. It became apparent awhile ago that he just doesn't get it.

I'm not about to call Walker a top four guy either. Hopefully he can keep getting minutes during this lost season and turn in to something, however. Same goes for all the new guys.

I was big on LaDue as well, but he is not very strong on the puck or physical. He reminds me of McBain. Decent puck mover, and can get a goal periodically, which raises your expectation of him, but can't cut it.

Don't know what to expect with these guys anymore. Thought we'd get the flatliners from the other day, but looked more like the hungry team from the streak through most of the game.

5-1 in our last 6. 137 point pace, let's goooooo :sarcasm:

Edit: f*** we won with Phaneuf in, didn't we. And Fantenberg.

Walker might need some more seasoning on the defensive side, love his offensive instincts, but there were more than a few times tonight he literally stood still watching trying to figure out where to be

NOt that it makes a lot of difference in the grand scheme of things, but that's a few games in the last couple of weeks where a disallowed goal means overtime.

Or I guess Kopitar not banging two posts early and choking late.

Yeah, that's kind of what I meant earlier. He's LaDue with the "active on offense" slider way up and the "brain on defense" slider way down.

Leipsec and Kovalchuk were pulled off of the 4th like they were during the streak and the team looked better.

I've been saying it for a long time that when Muzzin doesn't have one of his Muzzin moments, which happen maybe 10% of the time, he has in my opinion the best outlet pass on the Kings. Yes, better than Doughty. Obviously I'm not saying he's a better player but his outlet passes are. His screw ups just happen 10 times as much as Doughty.

Okay bro that's a stretch. Doughty has an amazing first pass.

Wagner on a line with Thompson + Clifford = waste of dat speed!

I actually liked how early on in the season Amadio or Ladue knew to put the puck in an area and let Wagner use his speed to get there. While he only scored once or twice, it was effective and was a look we haven't seen with The Kings for quite a long time.
