I do think we can play much faster and physical and Montreal is going to see this if they keep provoking the D

I know that's a penalty but I'm not even exaggerating when I say that happens to Garland multiple times a shift and yet I've never seen anyone call it.

Yeah, fair enough. I hate this hockey though. I get why Rick is doing this too with Hronek/Petey out and Hughes playing hurt, but as an entertainment product this is brutal man.

Lekkerimaki simply is not ready for this level and should have been left in Abbotsford for the rest of the season.
Young players like that need to stay down and cook, get there confidence up. There treating him like some scrub prospect, up and down, playing on his off wing, gets absolutely blown up because of that, he'll go back with less confidence every single time.

I really think he's going to struggle with Tocchet as his coach too. Personally I'd be very open to trading him.

Lekk was probably the wrong call up and we would’ve done better with someone like Aman plugging on the 4th and Hoglander moved up.

Lekkerimaki has consistently put up points and shots in the AHL while his team is on a 6 game losing streak. He was the right call up. (As an emergency)

Whether he takes advantage of the call up is an entirely different story.

You should be calling up players based on who fills up the roster spot best, not who is playing the best in the AHL.

By most/all accounts, he has been putting up points, but every other part of his game is clearly not NHL ready. He should be brewing down there, not being jerked around and blown up when not ready.
