Too soft by Marty. A little tired. Time and space too much. Perron able to slowly handle puck, put it on his forehand, and then rip through the legs.

I don’t think Quick had the best positioning there
i can't fault him on that, that's a millimeter perfect shot that perron disguised beautifully

he pulled that into his feet on purpose to change the angle and still absolutely ripped it home

Ah! Kings have a chance to win in 1/18 against the Penguins... Maybe on 1/6 against the Preds. Bunch of other games against the division they will lose.

It was a great shot no doubt, just used to seeing Quick make that save I guess

Not sure he saw the release. Either went through Marty legs or just shot off to side. A good shot by Perron. Took advantage of being able to release close to Marty leg and then shot off to side of it or through legs. Scorers are good at this.

1-2-2 at home against the Pacific, 4 out of 10 points.

The Pacific opponent is 4-0-1, for 9 out of 10 points.

2 regulation losses, 2 OT losses, and a SO win.

9GF(10 if you count the SO), 13GA.

That's what you'd call, concerning.

Not a whole lot better on the road against the division either. Western Canada for the next 3. Then 2 of the next 3 at home against the Pac. Not a great December, and if they don't start figuring things out, could be a bad January too.

Every person in the building knew there shouldve been a penalty in OT as Toffoli was held along the boards breaking out of the zone. Thats a penalty in regulation everytime except tonight.

i think anyone outside of toffoli and maybe kopi on the LA bench hammers that shot into shin pads. i don't think i've seen anyone, at game speed, make those small adjustments mid-shot with the stick loaded up

Was a great overtime, how fun it can be when the other team plays to win as well. Reallly wish Kempe would have walked in further after he circled the net, don't think he realized how much time he had. We definitely had the chances to win, just didn't bury them tonight, Fleury was fantastic when he had to be.

Not worried about it yet.

Yeah, he pulled that release around Marty past a two-player moving screen and it might have deflected a bit on top of that, I hate Perron but that was a phenomenal play at a tricky angle.

Really eager to see how we look when Carter returns. I remember once upon a time we were hoping just to not fall out of a playoff spot when he went down. Obviously plenty of time left, but we're jockeying for a Pacific spot, not a Wild Card spot, and that's great.

Even when Carter is back, it's clear the D needs an upgrade to really compete. Youth ain't taking a big enough step fast enough.
