News/Notes:
  • The Vegas Golden Knights come out of the holiday break with a 4-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks. Former Ducks William Karlsson and Shea Theodore get revenge on their former team.
  • Malcom Subban won his 9th game of the year to improve his record to 9-2. I'm assuming Marc-Andre Fleury will start against the Kings tomorrow. Fleury is 6-1-1 this season with a 1.97 GAA and a .928 save%.
  • This is probably the biggest game of the season so far for the Kings as they are 2 points behind the Knights while the Knights have 2 games at hand. The Kings lost to the San Jose 2-0 on the last game before the Holiday break.
  • The Kings will be honoring Dustin Brown before the game starts to commen his 1,000 career games.
  • I'm assuming Jonathan Quick will be in goal tomorrow night.
No Tweets of the game for this GDT. Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday break!

Hoping for a great game whatever the result. They won't have the benefit of whatever home-rink-magic they're using on visiting goalies tonight :sarcasm:

Vegas is just a fun team to watch because they're relentless and always skating, so it will be a nice change from the teams that want to suck the life out of the game.

GKG!

I hope we don't get embarrassed on national television. Vegas is the real deal. They have that voodoo magic/swagger that Calgary had in 2014-2015 season.

I'm on board with seeing what a Forbort-Gravel bottom pairing can do. They were always good at just eating so much ice with that reach.

Wait it's on NBCSN!?!?!?

I have a special gift coming up this early afternoon then.

Reaaaallly hope they show the Dustin Brown ceremony but not counting on it :(

Vegas definitely has the advantage here, having played yesterday. Kings are usually horrible after extended breaks. We are in for a rough ride.

What the f*** happened to this site on mobile? Excruciating lag and unresponsive pages. Stop screwing with the site ffs.

Someone needs to pound Mcnabb.

Why is Jokinen scratched and Andreoff in the line up. And please sit Forbort for Fantenberg, Vegas is a speed team.
