My fave league stat....the Lightning were 3 goals away from doubling the Kings goals about 10 days ago...I was hoping they would double, but
it's now 138 goals to 75 goals and likely not to happen.

Really really really, can I say how much...I really really really dislike those changes?

I was gonna watch at least the 1st period tonight, but

Hell put Carter, Thompson, and Leipsic together,

Really hate the fact he thinks Kempe, Toffoli, Scherbak needed to be broken up, I really like the way that line was playing the past 4-5 games, limiting Scherbak to 4th line minutes doesn't make any sense either...

31st overall, $7m salary. It doesn't matter how bad he's playing at this point, they're not good, so they're going to play him, simply because they have to pay him. Petersen's game time experience doesn't matter, because he's not going to be the starter anytime soon. There's still $7m for Quick next year too. Quick isn't going anywhere.

Here are a few sad facts to cheer you up:

1-Kyle Clifford sits 3rd overall w/ a S% of 12.2
2-Kyle Clifford has 5 goals - which is 1 shy of Carter's 6 and the same amount of goals as Toffoli & Kovalchuk (5)
3-Matt Luff has 6 even strength goals, which is good for 2nd (in just 20GP)
4-Matt Luff is also tied for the most game winners with 2! (in just 20GP)
5-Jeff Carter & Dustin Brown combine for more than half (57%) of LA's PP goals
6-Nobody has 10 goals yet this season
7-Our fake centers Kempe & Amadio are currently at 43.3% & 37.4% faceoffs respectively
8-Quick has 2W in 12GP - Petersen has 4W in 10GP and Campbell has 5W in 13GP
9-Kopitar has 0 PPG and Doughty has 0 5v5

I can't bother watching. Too busy with work. Though I will say recent games have certainly been more entertaining, and I'm loving watching Luff and the other kids.

And the Jets are always entertaining. Shots are gonna be like 45-20 and we lose 4-1.

This season of ultimate suck is at least allowing me to make up for all the sleep I lost watching the Kings between 2012-2014.

I need the sleep anyhow, this bout of pneumonia is a bitch.
