our board play is just absolutely atrocious

Everything that requires extra physical exertion - forecheck, board play, hitting etc is non existent in this team. They quit some time ago and will be damned to take extra lumps, or use any more than bare minimum amount of energy to make it through 60 mins. Kopi has it down like a science.

IVs have been deployed to each bench. The equipment manager has gotten blankets and pillows ready for each goalie since no shooter has hit the net since round 17. Phaneuf actually shot in round 22, but he hasn't made it to the net yet, so Gary Bettman has allowed all the other skaters to shoot around him. Soon, the Kings players will be able to use him as a screen.
