One of those saves Quick made you can see him pull his helmet back onto his head during the play. Contrast that with the obvious dunk-off Howard did earlier. You can see the difference in mentality. One guy is afraid, the other is 100% the opposite of that.

And 1 goal, with the 2nd most ES ice time for forwards. At some point that has to become an issue. Before tonight, he's on pace for 3 goals and 27 points. He may be what's driving the 1st line, but the 1st line isn't scoring much as a 1st line. Brown finally just got a 5v5 goal, his first since Oct 11. We complained about Lewis getting 1st line time with Kopitar, or if Gaborik had 1 goal with 1st line ice time through 24 games he'd get ripped, but Iafallo has the hustle. Ok, he's a rookie, but he gets a lot of playing time. He's doing something right, but actual production isn't it.

He's doing things that are setting up goals and assist for other guys. His hustle is second to none on this team and draws penalties. His points will come and i think the coaches know it.

Lost what? I'd like to see the percentage of people that thought Fantenberg was anything more than a hopeful signing. How many had him as a sure bet to start the year on the team?

As for @deaderhead28, plenty of blame was placed on Kopitar last year by myself and others. Calling out Fantenberg for not being anything more than a 6/7 is not the same as accusing him or the other plugs of being the sole reason for the Kings "problems". I was down on him early because he is a defenseman that can't play defense and he doesn't really score much either so, you know, what's the point? Oh, he can skate? Great.

Too many people that think skating is the only--or close to it--thing that matters anymore.

Thats why i think they're still caught in the middle of two styles and are working through it.

Kopitar has 4 goals at ES in the last 17 games, and Iafallo has had something to do with 2 of them. Brown, until tonight, had one 5v5 goal since Oct 11. That's not many goals.

When the points come for Iafallo, it'll be a lot easier for them to win.
