Lankinen has been pretty arguably top 10 goalie this year, hardly a crutch that should impact team play/strategy.

Lankinen has replaced Demko effectively but we've lost at least 3 points (Calgary, Pittsburgh games for sure) in games where a DeSmith would have got us a result that a stinky Silovs didn't.

There is a legitimate question about Demko’s abilities when he comes back. When the general consensus is that he will have to play a different game going forward and will never be the same theres definitely cause for concern

Yea, this isn’t like Colorado trying to overcome horrible goaltending at points in the past couple years. Demko could have provided better goaltending and maybe a couple more points in the standings but it shouldn’t be an excuse
