News/Notes
- The Jets opened up their road trip with a 5-3 loss against the Nashville Predators. Mathieu Perrault scored 2 goals and Tyler Myers added a goal as well.
- The Predators ended the Jets 4 game win streak, but the Jets are still 7-2-1 in their last 10 games.
- Connor Hellebuyck has had a great start to the season with 11 wins and 2 regulation losses and 2 overtime losses. Hellebuyck has a 2.45 GAA and .925 save% so far
- The Kings may have gotten a shutout against the Florida Panthers saturday afternoon and appeared to have turned themselves back in the right direction, until they faced the Vegas Golden Knights the following night. The Kings found themselves in a hole early on with Jonathan Quick allowing 3 goals in the first period. The Kings tried to mount a comeback, but the Knights were in control throughout the game.
- Marian Gaborik has been skating with the team regularly in practice recently and appears close to a return. He was skating with Jokinen, Laich and Brodzinski the other day.
- In other news Gabriel Vilardi has been sent back to Windsor to finish his rehab according to Bob Mackenzie. His estimated return is 2-4 weeks.
