caps offense.. one shot from the perimeter and done... other teams.. cycle.. shot cycle shot and cycle some more. This team is lacking talent. At least they learned from last year and got faster.. now need more talent this year to go along with the speed.

No we don't! Lost 2-1 and 3-2 to 2 top level type teams in Avs and Devils! Just go suck your whining!

Pens are tanking, even though they will not be able to be gift drafted a generational #1 pick!
maybe they are indeed, but its still so funny to see pens fans losing their mind

Yeah, they need to figure out their offense, but maybe more importantly their outlets and getting the puck out of the zone under their control. They’ve been struggling getting the puck out cleanly and it’s been pinning them, and that has a major ripple effect to the offense in general.

That being said, the last two games have been two of the worst looking games from the team this year and they lost both by one goal to two of the most talented teams in the NHL. They need to figure things out and adjust to a big loss in their lineup, but saying we suck is a wild overreaction.

I hate that Brent Johnson saying Caps took too many penalties. Devils committed 2 obvious penalties that weren't called. Devils had 5 PP's, and the Caps absolutely should have had 4 PP's, but only had 2!

The officiating is there to call the game in the rule books and not manage the game! They are not there to affect the outcome(but they did). Had Devils been called for 2 obvious penalties that weren't called in the 2nd, that's 4 mins for them to PK and disrupt their lines a bit. In my opinion, had that happened they don't go up 3-1 after 2 periods.

Pens fans think they are entitled!

I think the guy that's mainly not living up to the billing and price tag is Mangiapane. I wonder if they aren't tempted to swap him out for an upgrade at some point. Leonard should arrive eventually but they could use an altogether more effective player than he's been so far. This is the guy that they need to step up and into a firm scoring-line role with #8 out. But he's just so average. Smol and not dynamic. Not even all that much of an energy guy thus far. The most Meh of their off-season pick-ups.

Underwhelming on the 1st line. Was Protas dropped from the 1st to 4th line, feel like I'm missing something.

Caps got screwed by refs! So I'm not buying into they lost this game because of too many penalties! Devils committed 2 infractions that refs ignored(CMM hooked by Haula and Miro's stick be grabbed while skating away). Caps got robbed of 2 PP's. And I don't care if the Caps would have gone only 1 for 4 on the PP. The 4 mins would have disrupted the Devils game in the 2nd.

I know Dubois is playing well in the sense he is getting chances but given his contract…he needs to start finishing. It can’t be all about process with him
He's overpaid. You should try to accept that instead of expecting him to produce like an 8.5 million dollar player. He's more of a 6.5-7 million dollar player at the moment, and that's about all anyone should really expect from him.
