Yanking Brodz after one game seems harsh but I feel Dowd fits better. In a perfect world, Brodz will be on the LW with Kempe and Dowd.

I think it's more because it's a road game and they can't control the changes.

The Kings had the resources to go get a legit 3rd line center but decided not to. I'm concerned this is the difference between a playoff team and a non-playoff team. It's early, so maybe not worth getting worked up, but it's a problem.

Well, Amadio is a year out, he could fit that role. Kempe is getting a look now. They might have one in Iafallo. It's hard to say. I think there's enough there that they are holding off until they see what happens this year. Picking one up would cost more near the deadline, but everything is a gamble nowadays.

Personally, I'd rather see Camm on the first line and Kempe-Iafallo-Dowd. Experience be damned, they put on a heck of a showing when they were together. Synergy for sure. I wouldn't mind a 3rd line that was a (somewhat) liability on defense if they had the ability to play mostly in the offensive zone.
