GDT: GM#18 LA Kings vs Chicago Blackhawks @5:30pm 11/16/18-One Day early Edition!

Seriously, bench Kopitar. Whether it's an actual injury or just brain death. He's not doing the team any good, honestly. It may as well be Kempe or Amadio in that spot.

Drew's almost there himself, if he wasn't a righty, he'd be Dion Phaneuf right now.

I have no delusions that we're going to see any points in the next 4 games with these guys playing this way. One of those games that happens 1 in 10/20 where the goalie just steals the game.

Everyone complaining about Thompson being out on the 3 on 3 is freaking hilarious, first..it was for what..20 seconds as it wound down? Maybe 30? Second....everyone wants the Kings to lose, then gets pissed that Thompson is out there on 3 on 3....oxymoronic a bit maybe? And then....he showed how he can drive to the net earlier in the game, so it's not like there's nothing there.....

Again, people just bitching to bitch....

Sorry, I don't think Amadio sticks in the league....if he can't improve his defensive coverage.....or if he turns into a scoring wizard...he's one of those tweeners...he will bounce around, find a few gigs...then end in Europe

And Doughty got turnstiled, and Kopitar completely lost his guy, and on that particular play, Forbort completely miscommunicated and stayed in the god damn faceoff circle. Amadio should have covered that guy since he was already there, but I'm not going to send him to Europe right now any more than I'm going to execute Pearson for his one assist or call Kopitar a 30 point player.

Also basically the exact same play that got JAD sent to the minors while Thompson did it and got more ice time.

Anyway the point is more that Kopitar is actually hurting the team at this point.
 
I said this last year, Peterson is going to make Quick tradable.

Kings can only do one thing right with prospects and that is spot and sign talented UFA goalies or draft solid goalies. We can also reinvent guys who were backups or struggling starters elsewhere.

Signed Jones and Peterson as UFA’s.

Drafted Quick and Bernier. Hell, even JF Berube is an NHL player occasionally.

Reinvented Scrivens (temporarily) and Kuemper.

LOL Hence the...if he can't improve his defensive coverage.....yes, the team is horrid...but his play hasn't been good...even individually....like say....an Iafallo, or a Fantenberg etc....they both have a certain skill set/job and they do it adequately, Amadio isn't there yet.

Thompson out there to get it to the shootout or to conserve energy for it?

You put him out there because it doesn't matter.....he had a good game, reward him a bit etc,

3 on 3 is pretty fun to play when you are player, everyone was bitching about ice time..now someone else gets it and they are bitching about that...it's incredible
