I think it's becoming as bad as that temp skate in the crease rule that took too long to get rid of, years back.

It just seems that they are well past the original intent of the rule where it was the blatantly obvious GI calls that were deemed no goal. Now it’s GI if you breathe on the goalie or if the tip of your skate is in the blue paint.

And in this instance, the goalie made the contact with McMichaels back after McMichael was shoved backwards by the defender while trying to get away from the goaltender. Just a dumb rule

Yeah, they definitely need to clean up the bench minors. I also don't like that there's an arena sound for the powerplay ending, should HAVE to be the players on the ice noticing.
