I think the bigger issue is Lombardi trading away first round picks in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2016.

Absolutely, but the overall body of work in drafts from, say 2011-2016 hasn’t yielded much and some of this has to fall on Futa.

I don’t have the results from those years in front of me at the moment but I’m pretty sure the results are poor.
