Not at the moment. Just got to hope he can string something together and maybe at the deadline you can move him for something.
Not that it matters at all, but that last shift was a perfect example of how much Thompson drags down the team. Following a failed power play Clifford and Kempe work hard in the offensive zone grinding down low, puck moves up the boards to Thompson and he proceeds to immediately give up the puck leading to the play moving immediately to the Kings zone. It might not be big, but that has become a constant all year with Thompson, he just ruins momentum and flow.
Well, at the very least, despite sucking into oblivion, the Leafs would likely gladly trade places with us and our cups.
