GDT: GM#15 LA Kings vs Minnesota Wild @7:30pm 11/8/18

Stoll couldn't answer the question "what have you seen that's changed?" in reference to the new coaching style , he just said some gibberish about getting more pucks to the net lol

all set alongside some tactful marketing for CHLA and the ventura county family foundation or whatever the ****

i could really do without politics intermingling with my sports
Agreed. The sticker idea of "enough" is just a cheesy attempt to be "woke"

Frankly I think they've done a great job helping the community heal while making it as non-political as possible. There's no black-lives-matter or blue-lives-matter allusions, there's no gun control dispute...they pretty clearly realize they have fans at different ends of the political spectrum and provided an "ENOUGH" violence message which is something everyone can get behind. And it's not out of nowhere or reacting to a national event, it's literally an important local event.

Here's how they're helping

I really don't see any reason at all to be outraged at a team helping the community without calling for a specific political action and I don't appreciate people trying really hard to attribute politics to this here. It's a moment of silence for the families, support for local blood supply, and that's about it. Anything else is inference. Anything MORE would probably be leaning political.

i'm not even taking a stance on it to that depth, i just think its all largely irrelevant to the game of hockey so i see no reason to even recognize it

Kempe looks like he is already getting the Kopitar treatment from the refs, too big and strong to draw any calls.

Pearson for Sprong is definitely a way to add speed. Pearson as a grinder would fit better with Crosby

If he cannot spew irrelevant stats he would sit there with nothing to say

He had a tweet the other day saying that he loves the fans, but has a disdain for the idea that the broadcast in any way affects the outcome of the game. Obviously everyone knows that, but some people don't like to hear a guy constantly talk about shutouts and other trends. I personally don't care, but I am annoyed with the way he decides to spend portions of every single f***ing game chastising those fans. Him saying he has a disdain for an idea that a large portion of Kings fans have just seems so smug to me, that he is more important than the fans. He obviously doesn't even want to attempt to understand those fans.
