I thought Pettersson has looked really good this game. Still not driving the line but is taking the puck to the net, winning battles, and making decisions faster.

I thought his first couple shifts were really poor - especially an awful attempt at checking Kopitar on his first shift - but his compete since Boeser was hurt is the best we've seen this season.

I thought the whole team was pretty bad for the first bit but were galvanized by Boeser getting blindsided.

As im looking at our line up trying to identify some of our tougher players, I’ve been wondering where Soucy’s nastiness and meanness went. He was a pretty nasty guy to play against every time he played us but he really hasn’t shown much of that so far during his time here.

I know I'm hours late here but part of me has wondered if Forbort was signed specifically for games like this, to be used like Kurtis MacDermid was in Colorado.

It's that time of the night where because I'm (sort of) old and work early I go to bed hoping to wake up to a win.

Also I hope I wake up at all because I've you awful gas tonight and at some point my wife will be walking into a wall of it.

He tried to last game and took two penalties. Just too slow, feels like his head hasn't been in the game all season.

Hoglander is steadily building an identity of bullying people in battles along the boards - I get annoyed by his OZ penalties but the one this game felt unfortunate.
