Not a fan of the refereeing this game. At least they got the match penalty right with no hesitation.

Like I said earlier, it's being game-managed like we 'got a break' with that 5-minute PP instead of it being a 100% automatic, obvious call, and a pittance of compensation for losing our leading goal scorer on a blatant cheap shot.

Sometimes you have a great PK and the puck still goes in. Sometimes you have a nightmare and somehow the other team doesn't score. That was the latter. Yikes.

I’d say the Canucks have been doing a really good job defensively. Lots of good defensive plays, good positioning and good sticks.

Must say, I have seen a few very nice touch passes the past couple of games. The skill is there, they just need to figure each other out and develop some trust.

It should be 10+.

It's the worst cheapshot thrown so far in the NHL this season, it's literally about the worst kind of late blindside hit on a vulnerable player you can possibly throw, and it's by a 4th line plug with 1 goal on an All-Star.

He should be getting the book thrown at him.

The problem is , he’s a dog shit player. So it doesn’t even hurt them.

Still can't believe they deemed Garland's goal an "own goal". Kuemper swung his stuck and knocked it in literally a second after it left Garland's stick. By that definition, 90% of goals in the NHL should be unassisted.
