News/Notes

• The Habs had their most decisive victory (albeit only their 2nd win) at home against the Florida Panthers with a 5-1 win. Habs fell behind early in the first, but rallied back with 5 unanswered goals.
  
• The big boys came to play for the Habs as Shea Weber tallied 2 goals while Galchenyuk, Pacioretty and Gallagher each added a goal as well. Drouin also provided 2 assists.
  
• Marc Bergevin met with the Montreal media about the the Habs poor start. He voices his dissatisfaction with the start, but ultimately believes the players are playing without confident and will not look to make a panic move in the mean time.
• Well for the past couple of games for the Kings, Adrian Kempe has been outstanding to say the least. While his faceoff numbers are lacking, Adrian Kempe has been producing and at key times.
  
• Kempe scored at 18:34 late in the 3rd period after a mistake by Mike Condon and went five hole to tie the game up. After a pretty hectic overtime where our best players were deciding who was going to cover Erik Karlsson, the game went into a shootout. Cammalleri opened the scoring and Adrian Kempe finished it with a deke that was as beautiful as Kempe's flow.

If Kempe starts where he left off last game then I will consider this start of his an emergence finally. Let's Go Kings !

Kings win again with Pearson finally getting on the board with 2 goals both assisted by Kempe !

Kempe is still really young. Sometimes a great game can give a kid confidence and then things take off from there.

I have also seen and experienced situations where an athlete goes up a level in competition and it takes a while to adjust to the increased speed of the game. Then something clicks and the game slows down for you, decisions and anticipation becomes easier, and good things start to happen.

1 - Hope you win in regulation (we have a terrible GM who needs to get fired)
2 - I was a huge fan of Kempe in his draft year. Exciting to see that he is blossoming into what I thought he could become
3 - Should be exciting to finally see Quick v. Price at the NHL level, believe the last time they squared off in something meaningful it was a 1-0 Canada win in the Olympics. As a goalie I believe Quick and Price to be the best in the business.
