This panel will never pick the Canucks. The Canucks were missing their starting goalie and lost Brock Boeser in their final game, but yet still taken the Oil to 7. I think this Canucks team is another top 4 defenseman from being a Stanley Cup favorite.

It’s pretty crazy when you look at it. The Canucks could have survived if either Boeser didn’t go down or Petey didn’t play poorly. For all three things to happen, the team was basically on borrowed time, and the fact that they did so well is a testament to their resilience

What a wild period. Flames had zero interest in playing defense that period. Constantly cheated out the zone to play for transition opportunities.

Canucks made them pay, but Tocchet is going to look at some of the plays from that period and want them to tighten up in transition.

Also why the f is Luke Gazdic on the panel for our games, I thought the end of last season should’ve been a good enough sign for the network to get him to be a regional commentator for Edmonton instead of on the Canucks opener. Colby Armstrong is also a wannabe tough guy, so cringe worthy.
